CASAMANCE... Woodcutters and WOOD!

This is a compilation of the wood and the people who cut it in the Casamance region of Senegal. It is a war zone, complete with land mines (I didn't know about the mines before!) and this is where I had been going to get our light colored djun djun wood and large djembe wood. We still have orders there and several trips to make, so if you like the lighter woods, email me at: JembeQueen@yahoo.com and we'll talk.

P.S.

Landmines... the price is DEFINITELY GOING TO INCREASE! HAHA! Better talk fast! lol!

GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE UPCOMING HOLIDAY SEASON... Avoid the rush by ORDERING YOUR CUSTOMIZED DRUMS NOW FOR OUR XMAS DELIVERY!

I received these drums back in October and they are beautiful! The quality and workmanship on these instruments is outstanding and well worth the wait.
Thanks Sineta, you and your staff do a fine job.

Hi Todd and THANK YOU for your wonderful comments! Yes, the drums are EXCEPTIONAL. We were very proud of the Casamance djun djuns.

By the way, if you need Shea Butter to protect the finish, give me a whoop ana holla. It's been COOOOLLLLLDDDDD I hear over there in my former home. It's been a right comfy 80 degrees over here! no humidity either. tee hee!
